Resumen


Antecedentes: La tuberculosis (TB) del Sistema Nervioso Central (SNC) constituye una de las formas menos frecuentes de TB extrapulmonar, sin embargo, una de las formas más devastadoras con una alta morbimortalidad. Representa cerca del 8% de todos los casos  extrapulmonares que ocurren en individuos inmunocompetentes y la mortalidad se estima en 15-40%.
